Coordinate activities relating to technological development at national level; Ensure that the right technologies are transferred, adapted and adopted to minimize socio-economic loses; Partake in the development in homegrown technologies; Ensure that research findings that need transferred technologies for commercialization purposes are made available;
Assess commercialization opportunities, ensure adequate IP protection, develop commercialization strategy, assist with sourcing of funds, implement strategy and securing exits; Continually monitor the development in the field of technology that is relevant to the national context; Partake in the development of National Intellectual Property Rights and Promote technology prospecting and technology foresight to the critical technologies in support of current and anticipated future needs of enterprise.
